Geboren 1985 in Österreich. 2003 Abitur mit Schwerpunkt Musik und Geschichte,

2004 erster experimenteller Langfilm. 2004 bis 2005 Studium der Geschichte in München.

Von 2005 bis 2007 Ausbildung im Fachbereich Digital Film und Animation an der SAE in München.

2005 Arbeit als Video-Redakteur für die Computer-Fachzeitschrift Macwelt.

2006 Beginn der selbständigen Tätigkeit als Film Editor.

Erste Projekte unter anderem für Servus-TV/RedBull, Bayerischer Rundfunk (Dokumentarfilm)

sowie Jack Wolfskin, Vaude und Hanwag (Werbung).  

 

2008 bis 2014: Studium an der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg im Bereich Filmschnitt und Montage.

2010 / 2011: Teilnehmer am Austauschprojekt „Fiction 35" an der Filmhochschule La Fémis in Paris.

Das Diplomprojekt „PORN PUNK POETRY” erhält den

Studio Hamburg Nachwuchspreis 2015 als bester mittellanger Film,

sowie den Michael Ballhaus Preis bei den First Steps Awards 2014.

Die darauf folgende ZDF-Webserie „FAMILIE BRAUN” wird mit dem Deutschen Comedypreis 2016

als beste Innovation ausgezeichnet. Im selben Jahr erhält sie die ROMY der Akademie

und gewinnt 2017 einen International Emmy Award in der Kategorie Short Form Series.

 

Daraufhin Dokumentarfilme sowie Industrie- und Werbefilmprojekte unter anderem für Zeiss, Sparkasse oder Lidl.

2020: Unterstützender Schnitt beim Kinospielfilm „HANNES” von LailapsPictures / StudioCanal.

2020 / 2021: Schnitt der neuen ARD-Reihe „KRIMIS AUS PASSAU” (Freund oder Feind, Die Donau ist tief).

2022: Schnitt der Warner Original Serie „BOOM BOOM BRUNO”,

die auf dem Filmfest München 2023 Premiere feiert.

Born in Austria in 1985. High school diploma 2003 with focus on music and history.

2004 first experimental feature film. From 2004 - 2005 studies in history in Munich.

2005 - 2007 Digital Film and Animation Degree at SAE Munich.

2005 editorial and journalistic work for computer magazine Macwelt.​

2006 beginning to work as freelance film editor, numerous projects for Servus-TV/RedBull,

Bayerischer Rundfunk (documentary) as well as Jack Wolfskin, Vaude and Hanwag (commercial).

2008 to 2014: film studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in the field of film editing.

2010 / 2011: participant in the exchange program "Fiction 35" at the film school La Fémis in Paris.

 

Graduation film "PORN PUNK POETRY" received the
